What is a notary public?

A notary public is a state-commissioned official authorized to verify identities, witness signatures, administer oaths, and perform other notarial acts to help deter fraud.

What types of documents can you notarize?

We can assist with many documents, including affidavits, powers of attorney, real estate documents, mortgag refinancing documents, vehicle title paperwork, business documents, permission forms, and other documents requiring notarization.

What identification do I need to bring?

A current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state identification card, or passport, is generally recommended. Contact us before your appointment if you have questions about acceptable identification.

Do I need to sign my document before my appointment?

Please do not sign any papers before your appointment. Some documents must be signed in the notary's presence. We recommend waiting to sign until your appointment unless instructed otherwise.
